Strips

Rubber, sponge, foam, belting and felt strip is a large part of our business. We are currently supplying around 2,000 metres of strip per week*. Whether you require the strip plain or self adhesive backed we can supply it.

With the extensive stocks that we carry we can supply almost all polymers in strip form, whether that is Neoprene strip for a hatch seal or Food Quality strip for a confectionery application.

We can provide strip in any length up to 20 metres (Depending on roll size) un-joined, or can dovetail or butt join to provide longer lengths. At our Wrexham plant we now offer vulcanised joints.

We utilise one of 3 Merkle slitting machines or log cutters depending on the job. Our machines will cut rubber up to 25mm thick and for thickness' greater than 25mm we stock a range of extrusions or can "hand cut" up to 50mm.

We provide strip for most industries including aviation, glass, marine, automotive, packaging, engineering, furniture, mining and the food industry.

Holes or slots can be cut into the strip for skirt rubbers or stillages etc.

Conveyor curtains can be cut to your design with punched holes and slits.

Food Quality
One of our slit machines is used solely for food quality strip in our "clean" area. This prevents any cross contamination occurring.

All food quality strip is cut from rubber made with FDA/BGA approved ingredients. Materials include natural, nitrile, epdm, neoprene and silicone.
